United Daughters of the Confederacy


The United Daughters of the Confederacy is a hereditary association of Southern women established in 1894 for lineal or collateral blood descendants of men and women who served in the Army, Navy, or Civil Service of the Confederate States of America.

The society is focused on the preservation of Confederate history, most recently regarding the display and upkeep of Confederate statues and memorials across the country. The society has approximately 20,000 members.
